Bye 2013, hello 2014

So year 2013 is about to end soon and i'm really glad and also sort of excited about year 2014. A new year, a new start. 2013 has certainly left me with a lot of beautiful memories that i'll remember forever and also taught me some lessons that i'll be sure to bring it on to 2014.

January

My year started well as i was having a countdown at my aunt's house with my relatives and also delicious food and that also meant the start of my stressful secondary 4 school life.

School started and we had to beautify our classroom. Although only 8 people stayed back, i'm glad we were all able to complete it and make our classroom prettier !

February

My clique had steamboat at Isabel's house on the start of february, right after school.

Then i snipped off my hair because i wanted a change.

And then, i celebrated Chinese New Year over at Malaysia in Port Dickson. It was great because i love get-togethers like this.

March

 We had to stay back to practice for our cheer competition.

I went to sports heat to support my class with Cheyenne and Ziqi

Went to Saizeriya for the first time with my clique.

Malaysia trip to Cameron Highlands, selangor and Ipoh with my extended family.

July

Nothing much happened and we were all busy with our studies. OLEVELS.

Working at Pacific Coffee as a part-time.

So this pretty much sums up this year. It's very boring, i know, AND IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF OLEVELS. Nevertheless, i'm glad it's over.

2013 has been rather good for me. Yes i've lost some things but i'm glad i gained more than what i've lost. 2013 made me realise who were really my true friends ( i mean, excluding my clique because they have always been my best girlfriends and guyfriend ♥ ) who were always there for me despite all odds. So thankful for every single one of them.

And i've let go of the bad memories in 2013. And my " let go " doesn't mean forgiving but i've already let whatever that i don't wish to remember fade with time because i seriously don't see why i should care about anymore. What difference does it make whether i forgive or not ? What's the point ? Call me stubborn or whatever, but i know my character best. I rather spend more time with my loved ones.

But i can say, it's a blessing in disguise. I've gained some really good friends throughout 2013 despite all that. So thankful for all of you lovelies.

Focus on what matters

So 2014 is just around the corner and i can't wait for it to arrive. Let 2014 be a new start but i'll bring lessons that i've learnt along the way along with me.

Ayo ! So i've finally set aside some time to update this blog of mine. Yeap my job has started and it's already been 2 weeks working for Pacific Coffee Company.

They have a few branches at Suntec, Red Dot Singapore, Marina Bay Financial Centre ( mbfc ) .... etc and i'm working at mbfc while jiejun is working at Suntec. LOL yeah i know it's very far considering that i'm staying at Yew Tee so traveling takes about 1 hr 10 mins. Working at Pacific Coffee in mbfc is really different compared to other places because they cater to people working in offices so we have to be fast and efficient. For example, for mbfc, the things that they ordered will be put in a brown paper bag and coffee are in those paper cups you see in Starbucks, just that ours is in plain white. While for the other branches, they go for fast and atas LOL. Their food are on glass plates while their coffees are in glass mugs. So ya you roughly get what i mean.

The place where i'm working at is on level 23 and so every time when i take the elevator up, my ears will be blocked. I'M NOT KIDDING. It's really high though ! Shiyun told me that she can't stand near the full-view mirror for long cos she is scared of heights. Same goes to another colleague of mine who will have migraine if she stands there for long.

Working there is quite fun actually and time passes really fast. I'll reach mbfc at 7 am in the morning > prepare food like sandwiches > 8.30 the coffeehouse opens > make scrambled eggs / toast sandwiches / make coffee ( latte, capp., mocha, americano )
And then in the blink of an eye, it's 11+ am which isn't the peak hour anymore. There, i have to multitask. Like one side i have to toast sandwiches, on the other, i have to keep an eye on the scrambled eggs to make sure that the timing is just nice and then also prepare the paperbags, napkins and cutleries. HAHAHA i'm just scaring you. That only happens when Shiyun isn't around. But if she's around, i'll just make the sandwiches while she toasts and sends the orders out.

So then i'll have my break yay. My 1 hour break is divided into 2 muahaha : 20 mins to eat and 40 mins to sleep on the sofa. Huat ah. Although this job is kinda tough i admit but it's kind of fun too especially when i have really friendly and funny workmates ;) And and $10 is given everyday for my break. If you cant use up the $10 ( obviously cos $10 is quite a lot ), you can bring food home to share with your family. Sometimes if there aren't a lot of customers, i can sit inside the store to eat and drink. * thumbs up * but fat die me :(

 So this is the view i see everyday during my break (Y) LOL so every time when it's time for me to sleep i will stare at this scenery and miraculously doze off HAHAAH

Shopping is my cardio.

Now since olevels are over and my job hasn't start yet, i basically have nothing to do. Like literally nothing. So whenever my parents are heading out. i would tag along because i want to shop ! So these few days i've got 3 clothings from  Cotton On  and H&M

These are the dresses that i got from Cotton On. I don't usually wear dresses last time cos i felt that it's a hassle like i have to take note of how i sit so that i would not accidentally expose myself. But now i grew a liking towards dresses so yeah i'll wear them soon !

Yay i've finally found a skinny jeans from H&M at Suntec City that i really like. I don't know why but i like super fitting skinny jeans and this met the criteria hehehe. The black one that i have now wasn't as fitting as this cos i brought it long time ago so it looked like normal jeans now. AND i've also grew out of it. Like it became shorter and everytime i wear it, i'll have to pull it downwards a little so that it wouldn't be above my ankle. It's cheap too $17.90 ! I think it's under Christmas deals if im not wrong. I got this a few days ago and i recently went to another H&M outlet at JEM but i couldn't find it anymore :(

So now that i've got a job, i'm glad that i can buy things using my own hard-earned money now since i'm kind of guilty that whenever i buy something, my dad will always pay for it.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZIQI

So we ( Javier me cheyenne jiejun therese isabel xuanhui) planned for Ziqi's birthday outing and since ziqi suddenly suggested we go sentosa on saturday, we decided to bake her a cake on friday. Other than her cake we also baked a lot of other goody stuffs like cupcakes, macaroons, apple crumble. Prior to that, Ziqi suggested that we go for a picnic and everyone contribute one food for that picnic. So....

So after settling all that, the rest of us planned for the celebration cum outing ( without ziqi of course ). So we added in Macaroon cos ziqi likes it. So we went to IMM early in the morning to buy all the ingredients needed and we ended up spending $58.21. Wowowow. Then we went to Subway and got our lunch before boarding Jave mum's car back to his house. Then after lunch, everyone separated into their different jobs

LOL the whole kitchen was chaotic as hell cos all the ingredients and bowls were laying everywhere. At first i thought our macaroons were going to be the fastest but because of the almonds, we were panicking. Like we were supposed to use almond meal ( finely ground almond ) but there weren't any so we just thought of grinding them ourselves using the blender.
The first few batches of almond meals were perfect but later on when bel told me to grind the almonds longer, the almond meals turned into PASTE. Yucks.So we had to head downstairs again and buy another 2 small packets of almonds. SUPER EXPENSIVE omg. So we managed to complete everything and pop them into the microwave. The first and second batch of macaroons were great but the rests of them became chao da so we threw them away. FAIL TTM.

Bel and i completed everything at around 4.30. Thought i could rest but then jave was like " EH THE SANDWICH LEH. FASTER DO. " So jave and i did the sandwiches. LOL all jave did was cutting the bread into 2. The ham tasted so great that everyone kept taking and eating them. Yumz.

Ziqi's birthday celebration cum clique's outing

Both Jiejun and xuanhui couldn't turn up cos jj is going to bkk while xh has work :( So we sat Cheyenne dad's van to west coast park ( LOL change of location ). We spotted Ziqi at the bus-stop so we were crouching down while heading to find a nice spot.

We laid everything down and waited for the birthday girl to turn up. THE WIND WAS SO STRONG THAT IT RUINED OUR MATS. So anyway we sang the birthday song for her the moment ziqi appeared and she sang along with us. LOL yeah she guessed it. I mean it's rather obvious too LOL

All the goodies yums. The cookies were like a last minute thing but it tastes super good (Y)

Cheyenne : We all look like mothers helping our children take care of stuffs while they play lo   please

LOLOL so when we all thought it was going to rain, we all packed up only to realise that the sky is still bright. So everyone of us left our things on the bench and went to play. 

And then it rained...... So we all ran to mac and settled there to chat about all sorts of things.

Kind of glad that we all managed to meet up cos i know next time, it'll be harder since some of us are going to jc, which is different from poly. While those going poly are either going overseas or going to work.

I'm back.

Woohoo so hai. I'm finally free now after Os, prom and red camp so yeah i'm back to blogging. Omg there are a lot of things to blog about and i don't even know where to start so i shall just post those that i remember. Hopefully my memory doesn't fail me *fingers crossed *

So cheyenne and i went for the meet & greet at jurong point. I only went there cos i wanna see my bias in 2PM JUNHO and Han Hyo Joo.

Glad i'm able to see them in real life :) But it's sad cos Junho didn't really say much cos he's not really the main actor in the show so most of the time he's just staring into space. AIGOO. LOL Cheyenne and i had to climb the barricade so that we can take a nicer picture. I got down safely but sad to say, our cheyenne chong sprained her ankle and she had to walk around, limping for the next few days in school.

So this chong has turned 16. Hello it's time to act like one ok. So our clique planned for a surprise for her and lied to her that we'll be getting her curry puff instead of a cake. But apparently, its not a surprise anymore since our clique have been doing this ' surprise ' thing for everyone's birthday and also we have limjj who is famous for being unable keep things a secret. HAHAH too hilarious. So we bought her a chocolate cake and also a push-pop cake from Emicakes and just nice, there was like a discount too. THUMBS UP.

Anyway, chong you've been a great friend and a great lil sis for the past 4 years. HAHA my k2 friend. Sorry i couldn't recognize you until you told me about it oops. But anyway, thanks for helping me with a lot of things and being my listening ear whenever i needed one. You USED TO BE a problematic girl (but not anymore yay haha i've said this countless times) but it's what made our friendship stronger ( right ? HAHAHA NO ) It's okay girl, liking someone isn't a crime and you can't control who you like either. YOU'LL FIND THAT SOMEONE WHO LOVE YOU AS MUCH AS YOU LOVE HIM OK.

Prom night

So me, ziqi, javier and xuanhui went to cheyenne's house for our makeup which was done by cheyenne's mum. Yay. So xuanhui and i reached cheyenne's house at around 1.30pm with ziqi's constant nagging for us to come quickly. LOL ziqi's salon plan was ruined cos she was told to wait for 3hrs, which she can't. So in the end she had her lion hair. So we played around at chong's house and applied out makeup till around 3+ pm. At first i thought we had a lot of time until javier was telling us : EH IT'S GOING TO BE FIVE ALREADY YOU ALL STILL APPLYING YOUR NAILS. Opps at that time i wasnt even done with my finger nails yet. So after everyone had worn their dress and suit, i was still frantically applying my toenails. BAD TIME MANAGEMENT. Anyway, we set off at around 6pm and then there was a freaking jam but we still reached in time in cheyenne dad's van. Yay van hahah. 

Ziqi : Oh we like those big stars like that sit in one big van.

Me : Oh you mean like SNSD in MAMA huh haha, one whole group sit in one van then alight.

So we reached there and everyone started taking photos. Me too. Everyone looked so pretty and handsome * whistles *

So  most of the time we were just taking photos and eating. LOL sad to say the food wasn't really that good. Majority of it were vegetables and minority of it were meat and desserts. Everything passed by so quickly and the night ended. Sobs sobs i wished it lasted longer cos there are still some people that didn't have the chance to take photos with. Aigoo. So i reached home + wash up + check twitter and insta till it was around 3am. I finally fell asleep at 3.30 and i had to wake up at 6am the next day cos there's RED CAMP. 

Red camp  

Day 1

Went to red camp with cheyenne ziqi jiejun javier and therese and we are all in APACHES. I mean erm, the other bukit viewans too. As expected, everyone was late but we still reached in time for the event opening. Whoop i love the skit the most (Y) Then we headed off to look at the various schools > lunch. Yums pasta with broccoli and fish > path of discovery > Talks on admission ( The part where almost everyone were sleeping ) > mass dance. OMG THE MASS DANCE. It was cute but i had a hard time dancing to the song.

So we walked to chong's house to get our prom stuffs cos we left all our things there. LOL as expected, our things were everywhere.

Day 2

Everyone was late again..... LOL i thought i was going to be the lastest cos there was smth wrong with the train but still, i reached cheyenne's void deck first. Javier overslept too. Reached there > Skit and lucky draw > Path of discovery > lunch. Yums rice with chicken and carrots ( if im not wrong ) > path of discovery > CCA fiesta > Dinner. IT WAS FAST FOOD. When i saw it, i turned around and looked at Ziqi. LOL we had the same expression : the sian jipua face. Me ziqi and cheyenne made a pact to not eat fast food anymore and since then, i didnt touch fast food for like months. AND THEN RED CAMP HAD TO DO DIS. But really, the kfc tasted heavenly oops > mass dance 

Day 3

Everyone was late again. Except that this time, ziqi wasn't. LOL but the pap kid, aka cheyenne overslept. So ziqi and i went up to her house and kept calling her phone but to no avail. People like cheyenne, even if the house on fire she also don't know. Ziqi and i even shouted : OI CHEYENNE WAKE UP ALREADY. WE ALL LATE ALREADY. But still cannot. So we ended up leaving without cheyenne. Reached there and the apaches SL greeted us :) OM PA YA OM PA PA YA > skit and lucky draw > path of discovery LOLOL the skit part was funny. We advertise for a life-saving whistle and therese was a victim of a harrassment from a guy who wanted her number. AND WE WON YAY hahah. > lunch > camp finale !! The SLs danced for us #dramamama So cute > Dinner LOL pizzahut for dinner but it tasted heavenly considering that i've stayed away from fast food for so long > end of red camp. Kinda fast though..... So we stayed back and took pictures with our pretty and handsome SLs.

Hello. Woah 80 days to olevels. Oh my.

School pretty much sucked because everyday you only get to go home at earliest, 4.30 or latest 6. So whenever i reach home i would have already burned out due to the lack of sleep + long hours at school. But the thing is, the real intensive haven't really started yet and i'm already half dead. I really wonder how am i going to cope later.....

I thought i was happy.

 There are so many things i wish i could have.

1.  I wish i was cute so that i could take selfies and not want to kill myself
2. I wish i was pretty
3. I wish i was smart so that i wouldn't have trouble with work or get looked down
4. I wish i was a little shorter so that i would look less intimidating 
5. I wish i was photogenic
6. I wish i was good at singing so that i wouldn't be disgusted at my voice and window panes wouldn't shatter
7. I wish i was rich so that i could buy anything i want and not worry about my budget
8. I wish i was happy
9. i wish i was secure but look at 1-8. I don't have all that so i'm pretty much screwed.

Hi. I have this feel so blog today so yeah. Hi.
I was sick for about a week or, less. Needless to say, it was unbearable because i had fever + sore throat + some others but i forgot LOL. So i was feeling nauseous everyday and i could only eat 2 spoonfuls of food and i'm already full.
I skipped school last monday and i can say, IT WAS DA BEST FEELING EVER. My alarm rang at 6.05am and nope i didnt wake up. I snoozed it and went back to sleep ;b But it was also because i had fever then ;x And i started receiving " get well soon " messages from my friends. Inside im like, " Awwww you sweetypies. " I'm touched okay. Thanks babes, lublub ❤ Anyway i got back to school on tuesday even though my mc actually covered me till wednesday. BUT I FELL SICK AGAIN. Oh well.
So i had my height and weight measured, it's a back-to-school routine y'know. I actually thought i had grew a lil taller but haix, nope, not at all. But i lost some weight. Duh. I only ate a total of 6 spoonfuls of food everyday during the period when i was sick. That was only about 5% of what i eat normally.

So i managed to cut down on my weight. Woohoo a few steps closer :) I'm happier than a bird with a french fry. Whoopwhoop ~

But i didnt grow taller

Life. You can't always get whatchu want.
So anyway, i'm gonna workout sometime later again after i've 100% fully recovered. But i've lost touch already la AHAHA. Boonyang says you have to workout everyday to see results. You can only rest for about 3 days. BUT IT'S BEEN 2 WEEKS EVER SINCE I'VE STOPPED. Haiyo all my previous efforts have gone down the drain :(
