Banana milkshake X Yoguru

14th July


Hehe dad made banana milkshake ! It's pretty simple though haha all you need is a blender, banana, milk and honey (optional but it can make it a little sweeter).

16th July
Stayed back on wednesday to do our Effective writing ICA but you know we were all rather lazy. And just nice Yao Tao came over and told us " Aiya don't do now la. I tell you what, you all go home do some research first then do " So ya, we stopped doing and joined the guys to watch some youtube videos. They were watching "Differences between men and women" by Russell Peters and they kept asking me if it's true HAHAH i was like " hmmm... ya ya i admit okay i admit "


Bought Yoguru on my way back home because i was having a sore throat and the weather was really hot.

That's pretty much it because we all know i have no life because i am a student sigh.

Food X Guilty Pleasures

From a few weeks back (2nd to 5th July)

 
 Yoguru's yogurt with waffle cone.

 My favourite combi : Nutella waffle + Banana milkshake

 Rare grocery shopping trip after majority of my papers are over
The green tea on doesn't taste like green tea at all unfortunately. It tastes more like rasin ?!

Bought oats. I used to dislike oats but HAHA this is chocolate ! 
Can't say this is really healthy but it's better than not eating oats at all !

7th July


So i went Orchard for my Eye Care appointment and yes, my degrees remained the same, all thanks to my Optometrist, Dr. Tony Ho. My degree kept increasing when i was really young and until my sister and i consulted the Optometrist, our degree remained contant or sometimes it only increases a bit only. 
Sis also went with me to consult him about her Lasik surgery. And YAY SHE CAN GET HER LASIK DONE ON THIS WEDNESDAY ! 
Omg i'm so excited for her HAHA even though it's not my turn yet. I've gotta wait till i'm 18 (which is not going to be very long). Seriously can't wait for my turn !

8th and 9th July

Tried out Cadbury's Brunch Bar. Hehe yup, oats again. Although it's not that healthy due the chocolate layer at the bottom, but it has really helped me to include healthy fibers in my diet !


11th July

Kind of hard to believe but this tastes pretty good though

Yay tests ended ! But HAHA exams are coming yup in around 5 more weeks before i get my 6weeks of break. Can't wait for exams to be over and also my Batam Trip !

Bought junk food in a celebration of the end of tests YAY and also for the fact that i haven't been touching them for a long long time. Yes, chocolate are actually in my brunch bar but i haven't been able to eat them on their own. Hehe guilty pleasures. I mean i gotta take some days off from Healthy Eating right ?

I can officially conclude this day, 11th July a day of guilty pleasures and also a day which i wanna stab myself because i just realised how unhealhy this is after typing this out HAHA FML.

Hiatus

Hi all, sorry for the lack of posts !
My tests has officially ended not long ago, just last week and i've got some of my results back. Happy with my results because at least all my efforts paid off.

So, during my tests period, i was super busy and i didn't really have time to enjoy myself because everyday, after returning from school, all i did was give myself some rest (sleeping // playing games on my phone // social media) and then i head on to doing my tutorials.
Then when the clock strikes 9, i would watch a drama series which is only an hour long. After that, i'm back to my study desk again. My life has been pretty mundane, sigh all thanks to tests and meeting project deadlines.
To those who said " Poly is easier and not as stressed as JC", think again. It's not as easy as you think.

And then on some days when i actually end school early, i'll meetup with my Carousell customers to pass them their orders. Happy that i can actually earn some money while i'm still schooling and also without doing anything much; just waiting for people to drop by my Carousell and all i'll have to do is fix a date and day with them HAHA sincerely thank the person who created Carousell

And recently, i've started on healthy eating again (stopped awhile ago).
I've prolly said this a lot of times before because i keep stopping due to either lack of motivation or it's because i'm pracitally free the whole day so all i do is eat. But now, i find myself getting real busy that i do not have the time or energy to go grocery shopping as often as before so yeah, i won't get tempted by the huge varieties of  junk food.

So my healthy eating is basically :
  • Eating in moderation (eating only as much food as your body needs. You should feel satisfied at the end of a meal, but not stuffed)
  • Avoid eating/junk food at night (Try to eat dinner earlier in the day. Early studies suggest that this simple dietary adjustment—eating only when you’re most active and giving your digestive system a long break each day—may help to regulate weight)
  • Fill up on colorful fruits and vegetables (eat more greens and fruits)
  • Bulk up on fiber (eat foods high in dietary fiber can help you stay regular, lower your risk for heart disease, stroke, and diabetes, and help you lose weight)
Other than that, i'm also pretty happy with myself for squeezing in at least a 10 minute workout routine.
