Orientation x Shopping

14th April
NYP orientation for the School of Business Management !
Okay i was quite nervous at first cos i dont know anyone that's in the same course as me. But after that it was all okay after the ice breaker games.
There was one ice breaker game whereby we were told to blindfold ourselves using a cloth. Then our GLs, Colin and Desiree would pull us to some places and chat among ourselves for 5 mins.
So i was like sitting down then suddenly someone grabbed my hand and asked me " eh you trust me right. " I was like " ya". The person's voice is a guy la so it's Colin who pulled me. Then he pulled me to one corner and asked me to wait. After that another person came along who was pulled by desiree. Then desiree put my right hand onto the person's hand and my left onto the person's chest. Then that moment i was like " Shit. What the shit i am putting my hand onto a guy's chest. " But i eventually out my hand down becos it's so awkward.

Joshua : Hi err whats your name?
Me : My name is ruiwen
Both : ........
Desiree : Eh why you two not talking ?! Must talk ah talk for 5 mins. Ask things like what is your dog's name or smth
Both : ........
Joshua :  What's your hobby ?
- blah blah blah -

LOL damn awkward i swear. Like after every question we asked, there would be awkward silences after we reply. After 5 mins we took out our blindfolds and they told us " okay he is your mass dance partner "

Then we carried on with other games which was like super fun and everyone were starting to like get to know each other so we all were super high.

Ended day one by going home with Katherine which is also another friend i made. I'm like super duper happy that i managed to be friendly. At first when i saw my classmates i was like " ok ruiwen you better open up if not you dont have friends for the next 3 years and you are going to die due to loneliness " Ok sounds stupid but ya it worked.

15th April

Everyone became even hyped becos we are closer now and our GLs also created a whatsapp group so things were kind of falling into place ;)

Play a lot of games that were played by running man like chicken fight and titanic TROLOL it was super funny. And majority of the games were all at the stadium with the sun shining on us and yes i became darker yay.

Talked to some of my classmates and im so glad majority of them are so friendly and approachable ! Girls like Bernice Fernanda and Jiaqi and guys like Yaotao and Joshua makes our class really lively and funny omg hahah i have really cute classmates ! AF1403 XOXO

It all ended at about 8. All of them decided to have mac tgt but Yao Tao Arinah and i had to go home becos we all have smth on after that. LOLOL Yao tao is like a super funny guy omg he tries to be gay with every guy in our class becos apparently he's gonna snatch all the boys and not leave any for the girls in our class.

Yao Tao : Calvin my first wife, Shao liang my second wife then Joshua my mistress

Joshua : eh i straight

Yao Tao :  nevermind ! I can bend you.

 So the three of us said bye to them.....

Yao Tao : EH i thought you going with them?

Me : No la siao i whole body so sticky 

Yao Tao : Ya lor i also. So we going home tgt right ?

Arinah : *nods* 

Me : *nods back*

Yao Tao : * looks at us and frowns * Eh you two have a weird way of communicating ah

Me : Huh where got

Yao Tao : Ya you two nod at each other

Me :  She nod thats why i nod what

Arinah : Ya lor

Yao Tao : Then you all say la ! Why must nod

Me : Okok..... yes... we are going home tgt. Can ?

Arinah : ya ya we going home tgt

Yao Tao : *nods and gives a satisfied smile*

Me and Arinah : so how you pronounce your name ?
Yao Tao : I also not very sure but all my friends call me Tao
Me : So which Tao is that ? Like the han yu pin ying one
Yao Tao : I dont know leh. But i think my chinese teacher said it correctly
Me and Arinah : So how to pronounce ?
Yao Tao : * frowns * actually i also not very sure
Me and Arinah : *sighs and gives up*

16th April

Went grocery shopping at IMM's giant and i persuaded my mum to buy kinder joy.
My mum kept telling me that i'm too old for it but yknow, i'm stubborn so my mum funny gave way HAHA

No amount of chocolate is enough so i went to dig my fridge and found this caramel chocolate that my cousin bought from london ;)

18th April

Went to Clementi Mall to shop with my parents and i bought a shoe hehehe but this time, it isn't from cotton on !

 Super love the silver-lining detail over there

It's from a shop named Mimosa. I've been trying to find a pair of sandals that is white or brown in colour which has a really simple pattern and has buckles. I haven't really found one yet but this is the closest one i can find ! I'M NOT GOING TO GIVE UP.
It's super comfy also becos the soles are very soft and bouncy (??) HAHA

Kekeke my sister passed her driving test and my dad let my sis to drive us home. HAHA not bad at least we all got home safely !

Next post is on the trip to Sentosa with the polypeeps !
